CLEAR BAG POLICY

In the interest of public safety and to expedite entry for fans, Missouri State
will utilize a clear bag policy. The following items will be permitted inside
Missouri State Athletic facilities and are subject to search.

 

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc bags or similar)
  • Small clutch bags, no larger than 5.5" x 7.5" with or without handle or strap
  • Spectators will also be allowed to carry other items allowed into the venus such as non professional cameras and binoculars, but their cases will not be permitted. 
  • Fans can bring in seat cushions 16" x 16" or smaller. The cushions cannot have arms, pockets or metal.
  • Diapers, wipes, other essential items may be carried a clear plastic bag that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"  **An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.
  • Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: large purses, coolers, backpacks, briefcases, fanny packs, mesh bags, tinted or pattern desinged plastic bags or any bag larger than the permissible size. 
  • Non-compliant bags may not be placed into acceptable bags. Over-sized bags may not be rolled, folded, or otherwise maniuplated to meet the sizing requirements. 


LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Alcohol
  • All non-clear bags (all bags subject to search)
  • Animals (with exception to service animals)
  • Any item thaty may impair the view of other fans
  • Artificial Noisemakers
  • Backpacks
  • Balloons
  • Beach Balls
  • Binocular or Camera Cases (binoculars & non-professioinal cameras are permitted
  • Bottles
  • Cans
  • Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes
  • Confetti
  • Containers of any kind (cooler, thermoses, etc)
  • Drones
  • Fanny Packs (unless smaller than 5.5"x7.5")
  • Flags & Flagpoles
  • Flowers
  • Folding Chairs
  • Gifts
  • Illegal Drugs
  • Laser Pointers
  • Luggage
  • Metal water bottles (only squeezable EMPTY bottles allowed)
  • Outside Food & Drink
  • Projectiles (inlcuding football, frisbees, basketballs,etc.)
  • Seat custions with any metal, pockets, arm rests or backs
  • Strollers
  • Tripods
  • Umbrelllas
  • Video Cameras/Professional Cameras
  • Weapons of Any Kind
  • Any other item deemed dangerous or inappropriate by event managment staff
